Physios2U was first set up back in 2013 by Head Physiotherapist Matthew Timmins with the belief that life is ultimately about enjoyment and a mission to inspire people to improve their functional health, so they can live life to the full.
Starting out as a mobile physiotherapy service across the West Midlands, Physios2u quickly gained a loyal client base, developed from our core values of listening, educating, and working collaboratively. This approach helps us to develop vital trust with our clients as we work with them to continue or return to the activities in which they love.
In 2019 Physios2u were delighted to open its first clinic based in David Lloyd Gym, Brierley Hill and is open to everyone. Opening our own clinic has allowed us to increase the accessibility of our services and improve our tailored treatment approach via access to a fully functional gym area.
Our goal at Physios2U is to provide the highest quality customer satisfaction in the treatment, rehabilitation and prevention of muscular, soft tissue and joint injuries.
Helping to make everyday life easier and bring enjoyment to people’s lives is at the forefront of why we are here.
Owner of Physios2U
So Why Physiotherapy? From a young age, I picked up plenty of injuries playing football, therefore needed quite a few physio sessions. Since then, I’ve always been fascinated with physiotherapy, learning how the body moves and how it repairs.
What do you like about your job? Physio ultimately comes down to helping people move better. The best part of the job is when we get to the point where we have reached the patients goals, pain free, so they can continue doing the things they enjoy in life. The “Buzz” you get from helping someone achieve their goals is the best part of the ‘Job’.
What do you enjoy outside of work? I love staying active, going for long walks in the countryside, as well as hitting the gym and working on different aspects of fitness. But apart from exercise, I love socialising, going out for a good meal and maybe the cinema to watch a good blockbuster movie!
What’s favourite food? It’s got to be a good steak! (Medium rare)… Sorry vegans!
Perfect Holiday? I love travelling, especially on a cruise. It’s the best way to see different parts of the world in a short amount of time. However there are some great places in the UK, (when you get the right weather!).
